Feurich HIGH SPEED KAMM ACTION

Feurich has developed a new design for the 123 - Vienna model. new concept for the mechanics designed and produced by Renner. and into which a patented solution is integrated.

This mechanism enables extremely fast repetition. Professional pianists have always preferred grand pianos to upright pianos. Sensitive repetitions are simply too difficult to reproduce on an upright piano - at least until now. In collaboration with FEURICH, the German piano maker Udo Kamm has developed a built-in part for the piano action that significantly improves the piano's playing characteristics.

The result: fast repetitions are easier to play at all dynamic levels.

The best: You can order the © FEURICH - High Speed KAMM Action from us in any piano from any manufacturer installed.

FEURICH *The story

1851
Julius Gustav Feurich, the third generation of piano and harpsichord makers, founds the FEURICH pianoforte factory in Leipzig and is the first manufacturer in Germany to build the upright piano with under-damping. He was not only many years ahead of his colleagues, but also laid the foundations for the innovative strength of the brand. Founding costs: 1 gold mark. In 1911, the company moves into its second factory in Leipzig-Leutzsch. Here, 360 employees are already producing around 1,000 uprights and 600 grand pianos per year, which are sold all over the world. After the forced expropriation of the company and its assets by the GDR in 1959, there was only one option - to move to West Germany. FEURICH found a new home and a future in Middle Franconia. In a production partnership with the company Euterpe, FEURICH production in Langlau/Middle Franconia was steadily expanded. By the end of the 1970s, FEURICH once again employed up to 276 people, with an annual production of around 2000 upright and 300 grand pianos.

After a takeover of the Euterpe company by Bechstein and a later repurchase of the company shares in 1994, the new FEURICH production started at the Rönisch company and at Friedrich Steinbauer's piano-making business in Kalbensteinberg.

In 2003, the Viennese company starts its production cooperation with the CNC high-tech precision plant of Hailun Piano Co. Ltd. in Ningbo/China, which is already a well-known supplier of high-quality piano components for numerous well-known global brands. The worldwide rights to the FEURICH brand and the traditional company itself will be taken over by the Viennese company in 2012. A major concern of the new FEURICH team is to strengthen and expand the original European tradition of piano manufacturing.

2016
The heart of recent history opens on June 21, 2016: The KLAVIERmanufactory in the center of Vienna. The first FEURICH piano is built "Made in Austria" and immediately sets new standards in piano construction. In addition to an outstanding action, it has extensive technical concepts and patents that have never been seen before in this combination in acoustic pianos.
