When designing GEWA digital pianos, harmony of form and function is always the starting point. The simple but clear aesthetics focus on the essentials: the instrument. In addition, the simple and intuitive operation supports the artist's creativity.

The playback system is integrated almost invisibly into the housing, another characteristic feature of the clear design of GEWA digital pianos. Development and production 

GEWA music has outstanding location conditions in Adorf/Vorgtland: The so-called "SILICON SAXONY" - the European No.1 cluster for microelectronics, nanoelectronics and nanotechnology. More than 80,000 specialists work on these high-tech topics in this region every day.

Four universities, five universities of applied sciences, the well-known German institutes such as Fraunhofer, Max-Planck, Helmholtz, Leibniz, research institutes especially for the sound and material analysis of musical instruments are located here.

Production

GEWA digital pianos are manufactured in the Gewa factory in Adorf/Vogtland in Germany.

The circuit boards are manufactured according to standards based on the specifications of the automotive industry. Gewa cooperates closely with the French chip developer DREAM, which sets milestones in the manufacture of "digital sound products". The loudspeaker systems are based on the European perception of sound and its specification by the acoustic piano.
